Join Yogi and Friends for Tons of Fun Activities, All Season Long!
At Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Chicago, adults can unwind while younger campers have fun at supervised activities, games, and themed events. Plus, the whole family is sure to enjoy activities like our annual duck race, 4th of July Blast, and special celebrations for Mother's Day and Father’s Day. With 27 weekends already planned, Yogi promises 
there will be no end to the fun at Jellystone Park this season!
2008 also brings several new activities, longer hours at the Arts and Crafts Center, and unbeatable camp favorites, from hayrides, outdoor movies, and sports tournaments, to birthday parties for Yogi and Boo Boo, bear tuck-ins, and of course, Wake the Bears! opening weekend on April 11-13. Be sure not to miss Yogi's Summer Shows and dances held every weekend Memorial Day through Labor Day.
New Activities in 2008:
Yogi-cize!
Saturday mornings are extra special at Jellystone Park Chicago this season thanks to Yogi-cize, a brand new Yogi campground activity. Campers of all ages are invited to join Yogi and friends for five to ten minutes of simple stretches to start the day off right.
Arts and Crafts
Yogi is also pleased to announce that the Arts and Crafts Center will welcome campers for four hours every day, a 2.5 hour increase from past seasons! At the center, park staff supervises activities like coloring, ceramics ($), and glitter art, as well as new projects, including tye-dye and scrapbooking.
April

Yogi, Boo Boo, and Cindy love the month of April because it's when their friends wake them to kick off another great season of family fun at Jellystone Park Chicago!
Wake the Bears! weekend falls on April 11-13th this year. Come prepared to make lots of noise to get Yogi and Boo Boo out of hibernation! We will also be celebrating the fun of Easter, Valentine's Day, and St. Patrick's Day this weekend. In the following weeks we'll also say thank you to grandparents with free camping (when they stay with a grandchild), the annual goofy golf tournament, and a fun-filled guided exploration of the outdoors during our Nature-ology weekend.
May
With five activity weekends on its calendar, May is an action-packed month at Jellystone Park. Things kick off with Yogi's Dazzling Birthday Bash, which includes a glow in the dark birthday party, parade, and complimentary birthday cake for all campers. Next we celebrate Mother's Day with a scrapbooking party just for moms (be sure to bring your photos and scrapbooking accessories!), our annual family duck race, and plenty of other fun activities throughout the weekend. Be sure to make plans with Yogi for Memorial Day Weekend, too. A live band, DJ, magician, and a clown will perform all weekend long, and we have a very special tribute planned for American troops on Monday.
June
The fun only picks up in June, for it is when Jellystone Park's weekday activities begin (June 9th-August 15th). We'll honor our dads on Father's Day, celebrate Boo Boo's birthday with a Hawaiian-style luau party, and hit the decks as pirates for a weekend of scavenger hunts, costume contests, and plenty more pirate adventures, arrrr! June comes to a close with Yogi's Race Days, a week of activities to prepare for the Yogi 500 box races. Bring a box and we'll supply the decorations to make your own box car.
July
With July comes a number of celebrations. First is our annual Fourth of July Blast, complete with a red, white, and blue bike and stroller parade, watermelon races, and a "most patriotic family" clothing contest! Live music and entertainment will be provided. Cool off the following weekend during Wet 'n' Wild Mayhem, when super soakers meet hayrides, and later, get into character for a jazzy Mardi Gras celebration! July is also a great time to get in the holiday spirit with gingerbread house making, a visit from Santa, and a Christmas light contest during Christmas in July weekend!
August
August is a great month at Jellystone Park for the adventurers and explorers in the family. Work up an appetite during our wild west Cowboys and Indians weekend and join us around the campfire for the annual Corn Boil Dinner ($) on Saturday night, and later in the month feel, hear, and taste your way to becoming a Jr. Scientist during Fun With Science Weekend! Weekday activities end August 15th, but the fun is far from over. Join us for weekend fossil hunting during our Prehistoric Blast, and go bananas with Boo Boo during our wacky weekend of jungle obstacle course races, banana splits, and plenty of hang time with Yogi himself. Heading into September, Labor Day Weekend offers a great time to relax and catch up with family. We'll host live entertainment, tournaments, and a variety of other family-friendly activities as well.
September
It's no surprise that September is Cindy Bear's favorite time of year--it's her birthday! Join us to celebrate with fall crafts, fall games, and a sweet shop themed birthday party. We are happy to thank all active military, police, fire, and EMS personnel during American Heroes Weekend, September 12-14, with 10% off already reduced rates. Grandma and Grandpa also deserve our thanks and can camp for free when they stay with you at your site during Grandparents' Weekend!
October
October is a spook-tacular time to camp with Yogi and friends at Jellystone Park, with several weekends of Halloween celebrations! From costume parades, trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, scarecrow building, a party for the little ghouls, and a night time journey through the Forest of Fear, the fun and the fright can't be beat!
The last weekend of the season is October 10-12, when we wish sweet dreams to Yogi, Cindy, and Boo Boo at the Hibernation Celebration Pajama Party and say "So Long" until next season.
